Student Opportunities
Financial
RealIty Fair
Local Credit Unions and Norwin Chamber members work together to prepare students, grades 9-12, for the cost of living in the real world on their own. Students pick their career and learn to live on a budget within their means. The Financial Reality Fair is held each year in the Spring and Fall at the Norwin High School.
Norwin Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation
This foundation is a separate organization which is funded by various fundraisers throughout the year. The Foundation awards a scholarship to a Norwin senior. The senior and their parents are honored at the Norwin Chamber’s Lunch & Learn in June.
Excellence in Education Luncheon
This luncheon is held every May to honor the Top 20 students or 5 percent of the graduating class (whichever is higher) from the Norwin High School. The local business community sponsors the students’ lunches and gifts.
The Norwin Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer two scholarships, each valued at a minimum of $1500. Information on the first scholarship is available at the Norwin High School Guidance office and is open to any Norwin Senior going on to additional education. The second scholarship is for a senior of any school district going on to additional education. The student, their parents or grandparents must work for a Norwin Chamber Member in good standing.
